Missing in Mississippi – William Burr

William “Billy” Burr disappeared on March 23, 1991 from Bay St. Louis, Mississippi.

Unfortunately, most of the files from the Hancock County Sheriff’s Department were damaged or completely swept away during Hurricane Katrina so law enforcement is basically having to start from scratch with Billy’s case.

Billy was a 36 year old construction worker for a company in Pass Christian when he disappeared. He was reportedly last seen leaving a Pass Christian nightclub with two co-workers on March 23, 1991. According to the co-workers, Billy dropped them off at their homes around 3:45 a.m and was headed home. He was never seen again. When he disappeared, Billy was driving a 1986 Toyota station wagon.

His children, who are now adults, want closure. They are sure that there is someone out there who knows something about their father’s disappearance.
